Affirmations
The convictions below shape how we read Scripture, follow Jesus, and live as a church together.
On Scripture
The Bible is God’s message to human beings — God’s Word — written and preserved by people guided by the Holy Spirit. It is the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine, and conduct.
On Salvation
Believers receive eternal life through Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Jesus’s death, resurrection, and promised return form the foundation of Christian assurance and our empowerment for service.
On the Church
The congregation welcomes all who confess Jesus as Savior and follow Him as Lord. The church functions as God’s instrument for bringing peace, justice, and mercy to the world — building up its members, sharing the gospel, and serving others in Christ’s name, all powered by the Holy Spirit.
On Doctrinal Freedom
While affirming the historical Christian creeds, including the Apostle’s Creed, we value the freedom we have in Christ to differ and to disagree on secondary matters. We prioritize unity while approaching differences in humility, sincerity, and love.
